I'm certainly not dismissing your feedback, but not everyone will like every direction we take with the bios (or with every part of the development of the intellectual property as a whole). That's just the nature of subjective, creative work. I personally think the new bio is a better piece of writing than the previous one; the "Batman knock off" concept never crossed my mind when I read the new Teemo bio. I think it is much more believable and it treats the IP with a degree of relative reverence that the last one didn't quite do as well.

In fact, I thought the new Teemo played in well with our approach to yordles; they are social creatures who *need* meaningful interactions with other beings in order to survive. When yordles are removed from this comfort zone, they skew toward social malfeasance. Veigar is another yordle champion who epitomizes this idea well.

Admittedly a fair chunk of the IP development we use internally hasn't been shared with the public yet. A portion of it actually won't be; we need to keep enough of it on the down low to allow for proper development. Still, at some point in the near future we intend to release enough background that anyone who wants to really dig deep into the world of League of Legends can properly do so.

The writer who wrote Teemo's bio has done a number of the new bios, and I dig his approach to the champions in general. He's a bit darker than the norm, and maybe in this case it was a bad match between writer and subject. I wasn't 100% sure that a darker Teemo would fly with the community, but it was solid enough to run it (and the other bios) up the flagpole. If it's a bad match, I'll take the blame for it.

Needless to say, I'm not opposed to revisiting Teemo before we go live. If enough folks want it, I'll personally revisit Teemo and save him from the darker fate he currently has. I'll leave how this messaging is conveyed to us in the community's capable hands at this point!

Not 100% sure if that answers your question as i didnt read it all but its apparently about the writer of the bios

Ah, heres another quote

Quote

As with the humans, yordles are bipedal sentient beings. Furthermore, they too are characterized by a dependence on language and the creation and utilization of complex tools. As with humans, yordles have male and female genders. They are decidedly shorter than humans; both male and female yordles rarely exceed 1 meter tall, with most averaging around 0.8 meters. Their skin texture ranges from being completely smooth, to very lightly covered in fur, to ultimately being significantly furry. Their skin tone runs a much broader spectrum of colors than their human counterparts; while there is no direct scientific explanation for this, some consider this to be a sign of the yordles’ attunement to Runeterra’s magical nature. Yordles generally have inferior vision in the normal spectrum of light than humans. Yordles, however, have much better hearing than humans and they are able to see into the infrared spectrum of light, where humans cannot.

Yordles require far more social interaction with their own kind than humans do. The vast majority of yordles dwell in the southeastern part of Valoran behind the safety of the Sablestone Mountain range in their capitol of Bandle City. Yordles generally are a peaceful and amicable race, often marked with streaks of joviality and light prankishness; their moral compass is most often pointed toward goodness and benevolence. Their desire for social interaction drives them toward this ethos, as the mental health of a yordle is very much dependent on the positive company he or she keeps. This does not mean, however, that yordles are incapable of cruelty and evil. In fact, a yordle who is kept in isolation for too long – especially from contact with other yordles – runs the risk of becoming withdrawn and sullen. Some yordles who already are centered more toward malevolence will become exceedingly so in due course. In fact, these yordles will often twist their desire for social interaction into a desire to seek out others to inflict pain and suffering upon them.

I believe that one answers your question its apparently from a riot quote

The men are generally midget furries (except Corki).
And the women are an adopted race of smurfs.

Well, can't dispute that. Haven't seen a female nonblue skin yordle yet. Kinda annoying.

Heimerdinger is part Walrus, Veigar is cat, and Amumu is....dead. So all his fur probably decayed anyways.
