Im having trouble with the skin download. I download it, and i direct it to the correct file (the file path that take you to Characters, then Mordekaiser, they werent there so i made them), and i put the file in Mordekaiser, so its Mordekaiser.dds
but... no dice. When i get mord and select skins... nothing. Whats the problem?

Holy shit, this is the first time I've noticed this thread here o.O

Anyway, check your file path again - C:Riot GamesLeague of LegendsGameDATACharactersMordekaiserMordekaiser.dds

Things to check:

1. Did you copy and paste what I just wrote when making the folders?

2. The above file path is only for US clients, EU is C:Program FilesLeague of LegendsGameDATACharactersMordekaiserMordekaiser.dds.

3. Did you select your default skin when on the skin-selection page?

4. When you downloaded the skin you should have gotten a .rar file. Did you just rename the file extension then put it into your folder? If so, you need to extract it using Winrar or 7zip.

Might have found the problem. the file path doesnt end in Mordekaiser.dds
It ends in a PDF file named Mordekaiser. I have no idea why its a pdf file... how do i fix that?

You rename the file extension to .dds. The reason the skinner made the file extension '.pdf' was because the official site doesn't allow .dds files to be shared.

Still no dice. Im gonna try the second way that involves backing up the files and stuff.

I highly recommend that you don't. Did you check all the things above? The only reason it's not working is because your file path is wrong, it WILL work in HeroPak only because they have the correct file path and everything is already done for you.

Changing the HeroPak will just make things harder for you.
