So I've had this idea concerning Riot's referral program. It has some crazy incentives for recruiting a lot of people. Of course, no one ever recruits that many people. You recruit maybe 3 or 4 people, right?

Well what if everyone on LC made a new "recruited" account all under one person's name. It would be like if everyone gave you a dollar. One dollar isn't a big deal, it wouldn't hurt you financially at all to give on away. But $1 from everyone is a bucket load of dollars for you to have.
Similar concept.

Everyone makes a "recruited" account for one person, and they end up with like, what "10,000" recruits and they get a "All expenses paid trip to visit Riot Games and develop a champion w/ Riot Team"

Obviously, for fairness' sake, It would have to be ME SINCE IT WAS MY IDEA someone randomly selected. (or just me :3)

Its takes, what, 6 games to get an account up to level 5?

Its the power of the masses! Seriously, think if everyone took the time to make a smurf for this one person, it would go so much faster.
Also, despite my subtle hinting, I am not saying it should be me, but it should be. There could be a raffle or something, and we'd use and RNG to pick the winner.

This idea has several flaws. For one, i don't think more than a hundred ppl will participate, so don't even dream about going to USA.
Let's assume that we still do this for the 10000 RP prize u get at 200 referrals. If we first make the referrals on some newly created account, the person who wins it will have a lvl 1 account with no champs, no runes, but 10000 RP.
I don't wanna raise a new acc from scratch, do u ?
So in order for this to work, we must first do a lottery in which we will decide what person gets all those referrals. But after the person is decided, what motivates other ppl to do the referrals knowing they have no chance to win, because the winner has already been selected ?
Plus, u can't rlly control this, so the winner will prolly get max 10 referrals out of goodwill.
QED this would be a fail on so many levels.

Edit: we could probably do this for some guy who has done a lot of good for LC (for example Kaiokhen) and everybody who makes referrals for him (our forum name should be included in the smurf account name) gets like 50LC$ from the admins.

My whole point is that its out of good will. How the fuck long does it take to play 6ish matches? not to mention you are still getting to play LoL for all of those matches. Ofc there would be a raffle, and I don't know about you, but I would contribute to the winner regardless who it was.

I'd be up for it! I leveled up 10 of my own smurfs to 5 for the 975 RP, was quite easy. I'd be willing to do it for someone else just for the hell of it ^^

can us get a "referral-point" for referring someone to eu? i tried to dl both clients, but they crash each other (cant install a 2nd one) and i thiunk ACE still got problems with enw patcher...

Good luck with that, but you would need a sweatshop full of chinese gamers working for several months to get 10.000 lvl 5 accounts, so what chance do you think a humble forum full of westerners has?

I do this. Just for the hell of it. I don't even want to be referred but I like helping out others.

I think we should collate a list of people that would do it. Then get leaguecraft to setup a competition for it to happen to the winner.

That way leaguecraft gets more members, and it's a cool comp prize.
