Why is the meta the way it is? Simple; so that everyone can get farm.

You have ONE person top.
You have ONE person mid.
You have ONE person in the jungle
You have ONE person that needs farm bot.
Everyone gets farm.

Why hasnt anyone done what dyrus said and put double tank bot or anything really that fucks up the bot lane? well because where do your carry go to farm safely? I firmly believe that this is why the meta is like it is. Why the lanes are always made up the way they are but the iem kiev tourny proved that this might just change soon enough.
Kennen is a carry that can safely farm other lanes alone.

I predict that soon kennen will have broken the meta and things will have changed. With kennen top you can put any duo bot that you like and just completely fuck with the enemy carry while yours farm. Will this happened anytime soon? Doubt it. But there is a big chance this actually happens.

"Kill Lanes" have been getting increasingly popular in bot. Basically, high early game damage potential, in order to push the Support/Carry lane out. Leona/Garen is one such instance of this. Any "offensive" support will work in all honestly.

[Coal]

Alistar + Jarvan is an insane kill lane. But you need an AD player whos not overly used to having a babysitter.

[Drunkard]

Leona or Alistar+Any high-early-damage or high CC/Meh Damage early-gamer is a devastating kill lane in general.

Been liking Leona+Graves or Garen personally.

Nah seriously i saw a Graves go top and it's pretty powerful, hes pretty hard to gank because of dash and vision reduction + slow, and his q works really well for harassing.

SO if ranged ad would be able to top that could be a new meta. I think Corki is good top too.

Last game worked out for my lanemate. Philos, and then Tear allows for unlimited harrass and sustain. He can just build up tear over the game until he gets manamune.
On top of that, it's a kill lane and he gets assists.

I was amased. I wasn't upset, more like stunned. This is beautifull...
It's just insanely strong. This guys escape so fast, harass so well. That sums it up. This champion is really hard to master IMO but when you do it there is absolutely no chance to win against that. Before 6 with boots is really hard but after that. Jesus those missiles...

I see more and more carries going top, because they can outlane or go on par with certain champions. Besides, the only reason why AD carry bot works is because of the scaling. I've been up against Sion/Brand with Vayne and me playing Sona. We got ourselves served but once they left bot (with 2 kills each) our Vayne could farm up anyway and she scales better than Sion or Brand. Later on Sion and Brand didn't have the sufficient gear to stand up against anybody of us except me because they didn't have the same farm.

It's better to have one strong than several weaks.

I do this from time to timeand it works great against typical top lanes but if they send someone like sion or annie ten you lose.

Not really. I bet they destroyed your tower then went roaming. If they focused on detroying you, kills after kills, they would have probably won. Sometimes i am screwed bot but they end up taking down the tower really wuickly so then i can farm safely from the 2nd tower while they roam. If they didn't destroy my tower and denied me for 20 min i would have bee so much more screwed...

A carry can be shut down during a long time if you make sure to not destroy their tower. Just focus on killing them, every time and the gap will be so huge they won't be able to come back unless the rest of your team sucked hard.

Nope they just pushed us back, little by little, but they did. At the end we were pushed up by our tower where they couldn't really hurt us due me playing safe and Vayne being Vayne. Although Vayne lost a lot of farm, she was always a head of both. It took them 15 min roughly to take down the tower, but we were lucky with our jungler who could steal Dragon.

Except that he is a one shot support. After the ultimate he fulfills no actual role, same as Zilean.
