Dominion wouldn't become boring so quickly i
f local of a respawn could be changed between your bases, like WoW Arathi Basin. That way you could really assign some champs to defend some points, and it wasn't only about who has more speed buffs and stuff like that.
They should also make a CTF map
that would be fun damn it (of course Rammus and other similar abilities would drop te flag..
About the new champions.. well I think everyone generally agrees (some more extreme than others), that Riot could do a lot better job, and shouldn't be so obcessed in releasing quantity, but I kinda understand they have to pay the ridiculous prize moneys they're getting for S2, and also they want to be rich.
But I don't think the "time" is an excuse.. Their problem is between this 2:
- Lacking of creativity
- Afraid of complexety...
The last one can only be solved when they grow a pair.
But the first one... Damn it, they have THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of Champion ideas on their official forums from their community. Just spend some time reading them, fix this, fix that, and voila!
About the ammount of fun or interesting gameplay of the champions... I say again.. It's ALWAYS relative.. As long as a Champion isn't completely STUPID (Xerath lol..), there will always be persons that find every champ fun.
I read here from someone that Wukong is completely boring and has a repeated gameplay because his abilities are a remix of old ones.
It may look so on theory, but I disagree. Wukong is actually very fun, and kind of different of most bruisers to play. Some people find Sona funny (I do), others just say she's like playing piano with only 4 keys.
I think the boring problem is more about the Meta than the new champs..
And speaking of which, this is my opinion.
Volibear - Looks nice, his Q is the only thing I actually enjoy, overall I think it's a fail
Ahri - I like the looks, I think she's very funny, but she's not very hard to play, so you can get bored quick. I still think she's a good release because she feels different, and can fullfill different tastes.
Viktor - Looks ok.Fail passive, hard to master, ulti is scary and fun to look, but it's not very exciting. Only fun skill is the laser to me. Too much hype for nothing.
Sejuani - ~Looks good. It seemeed an interesting release on the previews, but revealed to be too generic. She Has jungle potential, but her W and ulti are pathetic to me. Could have done a lot better.
Ziggs - Looks and SOUNDS very fun. Skills do a lot of damage, and they're not that easy to master. And it's hard to master all his kit decenlty, despite having such an OP and easy Ult. I find it funny to play, and not anti-fun to play against. Definately a great release
Nautilus - Good looks, I personally like his kit. People compare him to Blitzcrank, but his hook works way different. Easier to hit, but without the potential of grabbing through walls. Besides, it gives the potential to new gameplay tactics with the terrain target. W has different side effect but nothing spectacular. E seems good enought. His ulti completes his utility in team fights, although I think it could use more spectacular effects

Positive release IMO though.
TL:DR - If you don't read it, then what are you doing in this topic beside looking for others opinions?
