Always last pick(or close to it.) even when i call out the roles i can do(top and jungle. mostly cause i play bruisers). they usually get taken and i am forced into a role i dont know how to play then get called a noob cause i suck at it.
i am trying to adapted into playing other roles like AP mid.
what am i supposed to do?
how do i get better?
i have no idea what to do. i barely even started ranked and i am already burned out.
i can play all the roles fine in normal. ranked is a different story. least for me.
so far it stands, for me.
Top: Renekton,Yorick
Jungle: Shyvana, (will be working on Naut jungle, if i can remember if i own him.)
Ap mid: working on Viktor,(maybe Ziggs when i get him)
Support: Soraka, Janna, Taric.(usually forced to play one so i know them somewhat well)
AD carry: nothing here, always get yelled at when i fail. so i never really worked on trying to be better.

That being said, some tips for ranked:
- Learn to zone. This is crucial for any role during the laning phase, but is much harder to grasp in bottom lane, since you've got two champs to worry about instead of just one. I recommend watching this video: It's old, but still very relevant.
- Last hit. 90% of the laning phase for all lanes is farming. AD and AP carries (and top lane) should have ~200 CS by the end of the laning phase.
- Map awareness is OP. Warding isn't just the support's job. You are responsible for your safety and position in lane. If you get caught overextended, it's no one else's fault but your own.
- Know your role in teamfights. This video isn't the best, but gives decent examples of what role should be doing what during a teamfight:

You clearly have to.
You ask for help.
Provided via simple logic.
You call it bullshit.

i dont practice champions in ranked. i do it normals. i know all that ranked stuff, i have read enough and seen enough. Normal isnt much practice anyway, too much trolls and idiots. i went to ranked to try and get away from the idiots in normal.

They're worse in ranked.
Also you really can't complain if you don't know at least 3 champions for each role. You are last pick, nobody has to save a role for you. If your role gets taken you are SoL and have no reason to complain since it's your fault you can't play anything else. Your friend can probably at least play every role decently well, or is just good mechanically. You are neither, so just learn to play a good champion for each role.

We could stand for a century, staring with our heads cocked in the broad daylight at this thing. Joy, landlocked, in bodies that don't keep dumbstruck with the sweetness of being.

other then the random jerk. my ranked has been WAY better then normal. besides most of the time AP mid and Support are the only roles that dont get taken right away, right now in ranked matches i do.

that is a total crap line. i know a friend who cant play every role but still does fine in rank. i am came here for help and suggestion. not this BS remark.
Don't come here for advice and negate it when you are given it. I can see why you are doing bad in ranked. You tunnelvision and think that you play very good while it's not true. I bet it's never your fault if you lose?

Your best bet right now is to go into 5 man premades in normal draft if you want practice. Aside from that, keep playing in normal, and learn more and more about the game. As you play and learn, you'll get IP with which to expand your roster. Bottom line is, go back to normal and stay there if you are unprepared.

i dont have tunnelvision. never have. i know i am at fault and admit it. there are games were i do very well, fair, or completely crap. i am not negating advice, not everyone can play every role. That from personal experience and watching/talking to a friend(that does just fine in ranked). I can not play AD carry in ranked. i can do fine in normal but ranked i suck. i am trying to learn everything else. So i dont learn 1 role roll. there people out there who can do it way better then i ever could.

While its true that you dont need to know each role to play ranked, when you can play them all your chances improve by ALOT.
Focus. if you lose game go rest and dont think about it. Treat every game like a fresh start. You can think that you dont care if you lose but its not true.
Be a leader. If you are trully better than your elo, make your team listen to you. If you make them work togheter then your chances to win Improves 2x at least.
and dont give up. even when its lost you can still learn something from it. Its not wasted time.
"skill" its only 50% of success. It doesnt rly matter if you're starting game with mindset that you will get again feeders, trolls etc. You already lost then.

If you only know how to play two roles of five, what do you think how far this knowledge will bring you.
