hi hello i'm kosheh

uh, maybe like one or two people know of The Spriter's Resource - a place where everyone gets sprites for their game projects/sprite comics. I'm an admin there. uh hi

coming from a spriteripping background i've always been fascinated with a game's visuals and tinkering with games beneath the surface. in my free time, I'll do nintendo DS romhacking, ripping sprites or even translating games.

of course, this carried over to League of Legends. The day I hit level 30, I swapped out my ingame art for Tencent's art....and uh, yeah, that's what got me curious about what makes this game work under the surface.
ofc, at first my friends were like "kosheh what the hell is wrong with you why are you modding the game files"
"well, this is a pretty grassroots game and riot doesn't care"
"that's stupid"

i now have had like 4 people on my contacts list ask me how to swap out to the chinese game art

I occasionally browse this site looking at all the neat mods you guys have, but I'm too petrified to swap out my UI or character models.
Recently I got kinda curious as to swap out certain language files, so uh

yeah that's what got me into posting here so maybe you guys can make me not feel like a humongous nerd not knowing what he's doing, lol

Welcome the forums, sir. Hope you do enjoy your time here. And I actually do know of your Spriter's Resource. Unfortunately, my modding knowledge and what have you is... Well, I'd be lying if I say it's anything more than nothing, heh'.

Also, don't be afraid of UI Mods. They're pretty easy to do, really. Just follow the directions and keep them up-to-date. I've used PerbUI pretty much since it's come out and it hasn't caused me a single problem.

oh, nothing particularly huge. u_u; Two Naruto Shippuden Ninja Destiny games and Dragonball Z Ultimate Butouden. With a friend I also did a little work on Coropata (which is like an Incredible Machine-type game and I've heard was actually released on English for iOS?)

There's one looming project: Draglade 2, which i've been meaning to tackle, but it's such a daunting project x_x

Welcome to LC! I know how you feel about editing files, ever since a while ago when I found out some games were straight moddable via editing files I've always had a hunger for edits ;D though I refuse to touch LoL cause reinstalling takes years
